• Contact details you submit via the Contact page or “Join Us” form — name, email, phone number, and your message.
• If you sign in as a freelancer via Google: your name, email address, and profile photo as provided by Google, plus the username, discipline, portfolio link, availability, rate, and tools you enter during onboarding.
• Conversations with our AI assistant, Saaya — including any contact details you volunteer during that chat for follow-up.
• Standard usage and analytics data (pages visited, approximate location, device/browser type) via Google Analytics.
• Technical data such as IP address, used for basic security and rate-limiting to prevent abuse of our forms and AI assistant.

Through client project engagements:

• Business information, brand assets, and project content you share with us to deliver a project.
• Communication records (email, WhatsApp, call notes) related to your project.
• Payment records (amounts and dates) — we do not store your card, UPI, or bank credentials ourselves; payments are processed via standard banking/UPI channels.

• To respond to enquiries and deliver the services you've requested.
• To process freelancer applications and manage the freelancer network per the Freelancer SOP.
• To communicate project updates, invoices, and support messages.
• To improve our website, AI assistant, and services.
• To send occasional marketing updates, only where you haven't opted out.
• To comply with applicable legal obligations.

Our website uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site, via a cookie-based tracking script. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect some site functionality.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

• With freelance specialists assigned to your project, limited to what's needed to complete the work.
• With service providers that host or power our systems — including our database/authentication platform and the AI providers behind Saaya — solely to operate our services, under their own data-handling terms.
• Where required by law, regulation, or a valid legal process.

We retain client project data for as long as needed to deliver the engagement and to meet reasonable business and legal record-keeping needs afterward. AI assistant conversation logs are retained for quality and support purposes. Freelancer application data is retained for as long as you remain part of, or under consideration for, the BlackShade network.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, and to withdraw consent for marketing communications. To exercise any of these, contact our Grievance Officer below.

Our services are intended for businesses and individuals aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
